The hotel offers spacious and modern rooms with a separate lounge area but fell short on cleanliness and maintenance. The service was a mix of accommodating and in need of improvement. Its superb beachside location made it ideal for families, but dining options were inconsistent.
Rooms
5.0
The rooms, though spacious and recently decorated, had maintenance issues with mismatched furniture, peeling wallpaper, and a musty odor that required air freshener. The wheelchair accessibility was limited due to the room size.
Service
7.0
The service ranged from above-and-beyond gestures like accommodating late returns to shortcomings in training and room temperature control. The staff were friendly and efficient but lacked consistency.
Location
8.0
The hotel's proximity to the beach and various amenities made it a fantastic choice for those looking to enjoy the seaside with easy access to restaurants. However, the ground floor rooms and the attached bar could create some noise concerns.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience varied from great quality but minimal portions to disappointing meals. Breakfast offerings were limited to basic items.

5.6/10
The hotel isn't particularly comfortable in some aspects but has amazing potential due to new developments and refurbishments. The rooms appeared outdated, with a black bedroom set that was chipped and marked. The location, however, is becoming rather special, especially with the charming park and train opposite. The dining experience, although the bar was impressive, unfortunately felt like the food was microwaved. Value for money varies based on the facilities and service provided.
Rooms
5.0
The rooms looked beautiful in the photos, but in reality, they had seen better days with a chipped and marked black bedroom set.
Service
7.0
The staff, especially James, were attentive, but their effectiveness was often reliant on maintenance support.
Location
6.0
The location is currently lacking atmosphere but shows promise with ongoing improvements, like the park and the train nearby.
Dining
5.0
While the bar was impressive, the food tasted like it was microwaved which was disappointing.
Facilities
6.0
Limited facilities available, and value for money might not align with the overall experience.

The hotel was fantastic, catering for my disability with a spacious room featuring a double and a single bed instead of a sofa bed. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. The location was perfect, close to the sea, restaurants, fairground, beach, and parks. The dining experience was good value for money, even though the coffee was not up to par.
